A nice place to get outside and into the woods. Not the best place for a day of hiking or a great day of hunting. The main old Farm Road is decent enough, but branch off into any of the side trails and you will be highly disappointed. Over the years they have received zero maintenance, and most are littered with large dead falls that block the trail in frequent intervals. In other places the side trails disappear into the leaves and appear as nothing more than an area where the leaves have been slightly walked on. No real trail construction ever happened, and they just sort of marked out a path, and that path never got enough use to wear down into a noticable trail. Regardless it is a nice enough place to get outside for a bit, just don't expect to come home with a trophy buck or even a modest amount of small game. This place experiences extremely high hunting pressure, daily.

Love the place. The parking could use some work. Only having one entrance and that entrance being a quarter mile hill make it a very hard place to get in and out of. Could use some new signs and markers and some trail work. Back fields need cut also.

Peaceful walk. Use bug repellent in the summer.

A huge wildlife preserve. The trails are not well maintained if at all. If you have some back country navigation skills and a map there are some beautiful parts of this property. Cell phone coverage is spotty too so be prepared to take care of any problems you may have on your own.

Nice piece of property. Parking area is limited. I hunted area just up front but landed squirrel and rabbit.. talked to a couple other hunters that saw a lot of doe. Stream looks clear. Access is limited but I will go back to hunt some of the central portions

The trail was terribly managed, trees that had fallen down were completely blocking the trail. I went with a group of 8 and we couldn’t find the path halfway through and had to bushwhack through about 1/4 of the entire trail. It was overgrown with plants some of them had spikes on them. It was only marked about half a mile from the beginning and half a mile from the end. Other than that it was only marked with occasional faded blue spray paint.

Not many squirrels... Plenty of deer though and pretty trails.
