Very sweet place. Made me feel understood and comfortable leaving my dog there. It's hard when you have to surrender a pet. They made me feel less horrible doing it.

By far the cleanest shelter I have ever been to. Holly is a Godsend to the animals in Union County. I wouldn't consider adopting from anyone else.

We decided to get a kitten from here, was told if the little spot under her eye and ear didn’t get better to come back she made it seem like it was just a scratch from The other kitten that was housed with our kitten at the shelter. we brought home are new kitten to find out she had ring worm, went back to shelter and was told that there was a outbreak of ring worm with the cats. That’s real nice to give kittens away that have issues and not think twice about it and knowing we had a cat at home as well that could come infected with it As well, our new kitten has been to the VET and is now on 2 different medications. Think twice before getting an animal from here unless you want to end up at the vet treating infections straight out of the shelter!

Very friendly and helpful! They didn't have a large selection this time when I went, but that's ok. I don't have a problem going back there from time to time until we find the right one. I am SO glad that they are not a kill shelter!!!!!
