Yelling at my Daughter for not wearing a mask right when she is 4 years old and I was already helping her fix it. Don't parent my child. She isn't even old enough to wear one but she does. And I can't count 3 grown adults these elderly volunteers hassled and yelled at while I was there. I understand some ppl that go there are out of control sometimes because of the area but come on this is getting crazy of them.

Great place to be while trying to get all your information with papers and life straight. Feed you in the morning and night. Have showers. Bathrooms. Chores everyday and night to be done.up by 6:30a.m. Have to check in by 4:30p.m. and if you leave have to be in by 7:00p.m. have rooms of 4 per room. Do except families and pets if you have a dog to be put in the back out side. Case worker in the building. Just up to you what you would need help with.

Day shelter for homeless, 7:30am-3:30pm. Lots of people inside, very few plug ins (have a few charging tables), seemed chaotic. The exterior of the building was unsightly...due to the clientele leaving trash, clothing items, food crumbs/chunks/pieces, misc items, shopping cart which is prohibited...building to the Northas the same way, trashy... UMOD New Client Card required to enter, TB Test appointment date/time on card.

As a resident of Wichita it is sad to drive by this establishment every day. Dozens of people are lining the streets. They are eating out of trash cans and I have been asked multiple times for food. If you have donations I recommend giving them straight to the people in need outside since the qualifications to get help are unrealistic for people in real need without access to documentation or proof.
