A year ago I gave this PO five stars for their kind and efficient service and today I'd give even more stars. I now reside out of state but my mother still lives in an assisted living facility on the island. I was tracking a package I mailed her and it was accidentally delivered to the post office downtown on Center, not to my Mom's address. Big shout out to Shannon at the Sadler Road office who took a lot of time out of her busy day to locate the package, arrange for its transport to the Sadler office then delivery to my Mom's residence, and then phoned me back to confirm all of this with me. This crew is a treasure. Thank you!
I was very disappointed with the service at this post office. I tried to mail a card, it was a pop-up card and I did expect to pay extra postage on it, however I did not expect to pay over three dollars to mail it.The clerk kept insisting it was not a card, it was a package and there was something else in it; no, it was a card. I would have gladly allowed him to open it to see it was a card. I am an elderly lady and I certainly wouldn’t be lying to save a few dollars, it was very embarrassing and expensive. Your people need to be trained better and to be reminded that taxpayers pay their salary
I was very impressed with the management at this location. The line was long so the manager came out and took prepaid packages as well as selling books of stamps to customers to alleviate the waiting time. I tried to drop off a prepaid package at my local post office in zipcode 32218 and that manager refused to take it. Applauds to Fernandena Beach main post office management.
Good customer service and quick, in and out. Plus not that many people waiting in line. Would recommend.
Had my mail put on hold until 6/25/2019 and then delivered. Well, it didn't get delivered. Called the local number three times. Never picked up the phone. Called the USPS 800 number that wants you to complete a survey at the end of the call. However, when you respond to the voice prompts, the connection does nothing and it says it doesn't understand. Tried three times to no avail. Looks like I have to do an in person visit to the local USPS to hopefully find out where my weeks worth of mail is. Very poor service. Can't get much worse! Or, Could It!
Don't bother making an appointment for a passport. They will let you know the DAY OF your appointment that they are cancelling it. No apologies, and the next available is 3 weeks or more away. This, after scheduling a month in advance! Total incompetence!
