Too many times I have gone in to pick up a package, and someone there neglects to put a yellow slip in the mailbox for pickup. Last week I got a package, and 5 days later the yellow slip was in my mailbox. This afternoon I went to get a package and was told it was not yet available. Lo and behold it had been placed in a locker at 9am for me to get. So...either hire qualified people or get more people on duty.

Absolutely the worst postal service, staff, package handling, delivery. Our mail box block has broken receptacle doors that have been broken for over a year even after I let the post office know about the damaged box. To get priority or overnight mail, you have to drive to the PO. And package care is poor, if it doesn't fit in the box they will smash it in.

We have received mail from our great postal carrier at our mailbox since 2016. In all that time only one piece of mail was misplaced and it was delivered to our door by a neighbor. I’m very thankful for the hard work and dedication of our postal carriers.

Great location, great location, fast drop off, and everything went well. Plenty of parking as well!

This employees at this small post office work their tails off. I'm always impressed with how they treat each person that comes through the line - even after being barked at by some lady for delivery issues on her kitty skyscraper. Mail in Pagosa is tough ... it's a logistics issue not a post office issue. If you avoid times like lunch and immediately after work you won't find any lines and will be greeted with a friendly smile. 5 Stars.

15 years experience. If you go there. You will wait in line from 15 to 45 mins. They don't appear to be able to manage flexible staffing for their busy summer period. And calling ahead? Hah! They apparently take the phone off the hook when they open. I have called as many as 50 times in a day. Busy every time. Therefore you just have to go wait in the interminable line merely to ask a question. Great safety feature in the age of Covid. If you can use Fedex or UPS, but be aware. These shippers use USPS for the "last mile" in this rural area. So really only for packages of a large size and/or weight.
