No Touch

A phone call was made from the company a day after I applied to one of its position. Without an introduction on who the person was representing and a quick review on the job's responsibilities, I didn't recognize the exact position I applied to at first. The conversation quickly devolved into emotional criticism from the company's HR Director against my forgetfulness of the exact position and on concluding that I don't have the skills for the position without having gone over my resume. I explained, with full seriousness, on where and how I have worked as a chemist outside my university and my understanding on how Chemical Engineers work alongside with Chemists as well as other engineers and company executives. My explanation was deflected by the caller and concluded with their explanation of their elevated personal achievements to undermine my own. A mistake I made was not accepting the opportunity to visit the company for an in-person interview so that I can show, in person, my fair-value as a potential employee and to see how the executives treat their employees from the inside.

I just purchased a Van Der Hagen razor. Someone wrote that this is a good starter razor. I'm 68 years old and I have used many types of razors - This in my opinion this is the best! That said - If you start with a good razor like this one. you won't have to look any further! Ben.
