I have some mixed feelings about Towers, but overall I am glad I chose to live here this year. It really irritates me (and my guests) that they have to search bags and check guests in after 8pm. It's hard to have a bunch of friends over for an evening. But I like the apartment itself. The space is great for the price, and it's pretty close to campus. The kitchen is small but such a lifesaver, the floors are decent quality fake wood (much preferable to the solid tile dorm floors yikes. The furniture has seen better days but is sleek and effective. I love the balcony, it's honestly what seals the deal for me, but be warned that balconies on a certain side of the building are locked and you could be put into those rooms and not get access to your balcony --- just something to consider if you like a balcony as much as I do. The food is decent, they have laundry, they have a workout room and a pool; the amenities are nice. Oh but I do get a lot of little bugs in my apartment. Usually small little flies or little crawling bugs, a couple of times some bigger cockroaches. All in all, I'm happy with my living situation this year, but I'm not planning on sticking around for another couple years.

I love the Towers rooftop. You can see the whole city and the sunsets are beautiful. There is so much space in the apartment. My closet is bigger than my room back home. The oven is a lifesaver because I love cooking. Towers serves an awesome tomato soup and vegan beef tacos.

Came for a tour and was greeted by an friendly staff that asked detailed questions so they could find the best for me during the upcoming school year. The amenities blew my mind on how large and elegant they were. The rooftop was by far my favorite and the staff had mentioned they do weekly events. This will give me plenty of opportunities to meet new people. I would highly recommend people to live here or come see their place. Not to mention the special I signed for helped

Towers has the best rooftop view in the city. You can see the UT tower, and many other great parts of the Austin skyline. Being one of the only dorms with a stovetop, it’s great if you love cooking like my roommates and me. If you don’t, towers has a dining hall that serves many great options and accommodates well for vegetarians. The dorms are spacious and my closet is bigger than my room back home! The staff is super nice and if you ever have a problem, they fix it within the same day. I’ve loved my experience at towers, and would recommend living there!

I have lived at University Towers for about four months now and my experience has been pretty pleasant. I really appreciate the apartment staff who host activities and functions for people to attend. The buildings are fairly clean, and any issues regarding cleanliness are usually the occupants fault and not due to a lack of regular cleaning by the staff. The apartments are spacious, however the building does lack color. But, honestly, for the rent and the dining services and th closeness to campus, it's not at all bad.

Moving towers is like taking the bus: you take bus because you don't have a car but at least the chairs are comfy. If your parents are willing to pay for nicer apartments go for it. Nothing truly deal breaking about towers except that it's old and the smells on the hallways are questionable. Just know it's an old building, it's gonna be loud bc of parties sometimes, and that they will make you buy a meal plan which I actually enjoyed having.
