Bob was an amazing tour and fishing guide! He knows that lake like the back of his hand with all the history of it included! Had the time of my life. Fishing was awesome and those machines are incredible to fish off of! Incredible service from Bob! Definitely worth every penny to go!! There are places you will never get into without the machine he provides and the places that he knows were to go with them! I will definitely be booking another trip for me and my wife!! Thank you Bob for all your kindness and expertise!

I was pretty skeptical that this trip would live up to my expectations based on the amount of money it costs to go. This only lasted about 30 minutes into the launch from State Line Boat Ramp. Once we hit the lake I forgot all about the cost. By the third day I was mentally planning our next trip and making sure that we could do it when the weather was cooler so the fish would cooperate a little better. I definitely recommend this adventure tot those that want to experience Lake Powell in an Extraordinary way.
I have been to Lake Powell several times but not like this. Bob has everything from the tackle to snacks perfectly stocked on these machines. You get to fish for multiple species as you pass every boat on the lake while moving to the next fishing spot. You get a history lesson along the way and get to explore the many slot canyons as well. One of my best days on the water! I will definitely be back. Worth every dime, you won't regret it.
Bob’s up lake adventure was a one of a kind experience that will be forever life changing for myself, my 14 year old son and one of my best friends. First off, we went the beginning of March and it was a little chilly. Bob actually provided us top of the line equipment like waders and boots to keep us dry and warm, GORE-TEX gloves, even goggles and face protectors to shield our faces from the wind and water. We caught as many fish as we wanted and had so many snacks and beverages that were so perfectly planned, organized and tasteful. My son slept in his own tent and helped build the camp. He loved every bit of that experience and said he can’t wait to return. We ate a luxurious camp dinner and even had a little scotch (not my son ) as we watched the sunset over the canyon where we were camped for the night. We relaxed when we wanted, jumped on the Fish Pro’s when we wanted and took a quick romp around the lake to explore when we wanted. We had the flexibility to do whatever we wanted and Bob made it happen. The fishing gear and Fish Pro’s were top of the line and I’ve never been on an excursion ( and we’ve been on dozens of tours/excursions) that provided top notch perfect equipment that basically was unused it seemed. At first I was hesitant about the price of the excursion, but after the trip we were all already planning our next outing and how soon we could get back to Lake Powell. Believe me, the value is there and you won’t be disappointed with anything other than maybe not doing more time on the lake!
My experience with Bob and Up Lake Adventures was nothing short of awe-inspiring. I caught myself a handful of times forgetting I was fishing while I tried to process the beauty of Powell. I have been on a few fishing charters before in my home state of Minnesota, so I thought I knew what I was in for. Not the case. Bob had everything set for us from the bait to food and drinks. Bob meticulously outfits his machines to accommodate any type of adventure on the lake. Bob would bring us to an area and suggest a few fishing techniques before turning us loose to explore and experience the lake in our own way. This is not something you could ever experience on a conventional boat. Take the ride. You won't regret it.
My husband and I had an wonderful experience on our Up Lake Adventure! We both love fishing, and the ability to fish right from the jet ski was great as we easily found fishing spots throughout the canyons. The scenery was truly beautiful. Bob was very friendly and helpful. He has a lot of knowledge about the lake, and since you are on a jet ski you have access to many locations that are otherwise inaccessible by larger boats. Great food and comfortable sleeping arrangements. I would definitely recommend this for those who like an adventure!
This was an amazing trip for my husband and I! I highly recommend it for a couples get away. An all inclusive camping adventure! Super easy, fun, and incredibly beautiful. Bob was wonderful to hang out with, and an awesome guide. It really was life changing, and I hope to be able to do it again.
At my age I was fairly concerned about my comfort, stability, and my own abilities to drive a PWC, I never had driven one before. What a surprise! It is hard to explain how stable Bob's new Sea-Doo Fish Pros are. I NEVER felt like I would tip over or was not in complete control. I have had 2 knee replacements and had ZERO problems driving this Fish Pro for 3 days. So comfortable. I love to fish and loved fishing from a PWC (jet ski) because it was so so easy to control and move close to the shore and over rocks where the fish are. Sleeping accommodations were amazing, his setup made sleeping outdoors way better than expected. Bob has a cot with a mattress, sheets, pillows, and blankets that quite honestly made for probably my best nights sleep I have ever had outdoors. The food was great and snacks throughout the day were perfect (way more than I needed!) and having an ice chest with me all the time was great because I always had something ice cold to drink. Overall, Bob definitely has a first class operation with Up Lake Adventures. My expectations were more than exceeded and I would quickly recommend Up Lake Adventures to ANYONE wanting an experience of a lifetime!
