Great experience. Took my teenager and a group of scouts. They participated in a climbing merit badge workshop. Everyone had a lot of fun. Staff did a great job instructing. Staff also did great job explaining how things work in their facility. Shoes and other gear available for rent. Reasonably priced. They can help you connect and participate with other climbing groups and activities.

The crew was awesome Bryce gave us a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door and we had a dope lesson from Sydney and Tom! Thanks for the beautiful experience! This Upper Limits is nice and cozy. I've been to the Maryland Heights location and this one is smaller. The staff, Gavin, was very helpful getting me squared away. Downtown has about 6 auto-belayers and routes for beginners and experts alike. They take their Covid precautions seriously and I appreciate that. You do have to climb in a mask, but I barely noticed. Hope to see you on the wall!

Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and it exceeded all expectations. I've been climbing before, but several members of my group had not. The staff was incredible! After filling out necessary documents, they lead us through an orientation on equipment, safety, and different climbing options. We had an age span of climbers from 6 years old to 40, and they all had a blast! Going back today as my daughter loved it and wants to try the youth team! Thanks to all the staff for helping to make a memorable day of fun for us all!

Family’s first time at any rock climbing establishment, I ordered discounted tickets off of Groupon (Excellent) The staff (Excellent) walked us threw the waver process, putting on equipment, rules and instructions. My 13 yr old rated it (Excellent) my 5 yr old rated it (Good) which probably would have been different if child area was open (reserved for party) I rate it (Fair) it’s not really worth buying an adult ticket because I had to spot my kids the whole visit, its kind of small and dark, my kids got bored fast. Our visit only lasted about 45min. I recommend this place to adult rock climbers, somewhere to practice at.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There were all levels of climbers and it was awesome to watch the really experienced people. I really enjoyed the whole experience. I want to get in better shape and come back.

This is by far the best Upper Limits gym in St. Louis. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I took the 4 week intro to climbing class with Lou, and I could not have asked for a better instructor. He is an amazing teacher, and I highly recommend the class with him!
