I really like the brews from Calvert Brewing. They have great quality control and they have a great selection from which to choose. The staff is very friendly. The only improvements would be to offer more outdoor seating and have a dedicated did truck. However, I'm not coming for the food, just the beer.

Very Old Navy

Well here we are in the middle of another Southern Maryland ice storm. We have lost power, the water isn't running, and the wood for the fireplace is running low. We will, however, face the coming apocalypse bravely. So we have broken out the last of our Calvert Brewing Company Tun Tavern Porter, and kicked back to await our fate. The end of times doesn't look too bad from where I'm sitting.

I wanted to love it. I have loved and enjoyed many of their beers... but something was just off on the current offerings. They weren't bad, they just weren't great. I miss the cream ale, the Wokie, and some of the other solid brews.

Great fresh beer. Good selection. They sometimes have their own seltzers. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great atmosphere. Great beer. Doesn’t often happen that you find a brewery which has tasty beer and a good vibe. Loved the Coffee Stout and Great Adventure IPA. Brewery also hosts activities like goat yoga and zoomba. I’m not making this up. Family and pet friendly. Made me wish I had a dog.
