Anna is a nurturing, kind and exceptionally talented teacher. Our daughter has been taking violin lessons for nearly two years (she started at age 6). She's had the ability to perform in several venues and is thriving under Anna's guidance. Upstate Music Studio is more than a school; it feels like a family. We highly recommend it!

Anna teaches piano to both my young daughters. They have loved their lessons from the first time they went. It was so exciting to them to play songs their very first lesson (not just scales or middle C). I also love how she teaches them about music, not just piano. She plays games to help them learn rhythms and notes and features a composer each month. You are getting music education with Anna, not just piano lessons.
Anna is an amazing piano teacher. My daughter has learned so much since beginning lessons 3 years ago. She has had opportunities to perform in recitals and Federation—all of which have helped her grow as a pianist. Most importantly, Anna has instilled a love for music in my daughter.

Anna is a wonderful and talented instructor. She is very patient and caring to her students. She specializes in piano and violin and tailors lessons to fit the students needs, which I personally found it amazing!!! You will not regret to take her lessons.
Ms. Burrell is very patient and kind. She has a fantastic music set up in her cozy and quaint home. Extremely organized! All books are included in fees. Our daughter has learned so much in a short time, and she loves her monthly group theory/performance piano class. We are so pleased and blessed to have found Upstate Music Studio!
My son has taken violin lessons from Anna about 2 1/2 years. I love the Suzuki method approach (great ear and technique training for a young child). She is very patient and does a great job of keeping him engaged in the lesson time. My son enjoys her teaching and especially loves the monthly group lesson.
