The time had come for our 13yr old boxer to crossover. We had wanted one more day with him to pamper him and love on him, so on Saturday I called to get hours and pricing. Called Sunday morning to set our appointment, make sure to call beforehand folks it’ll help save time and frustration. We had an appointment for 30m after I called. When we arrive we called in to follow Covid-19 procedures, they came out and got him took him in and prepped him. They then came out and got my wife and I, only 2 adults over 18 are allowed at this time, they gave us all the time we wanted with him and treats for him to get him comfortable. They had a nice pet bed on the floor for him to lay on and for us to be near him. When we were ready they came in and did the procedure with compassion and kindness. They are sending us paw prints for our kids and his ashes are headed to a farm pond in Iowa. They did they’re absolute best to make what is a horrible day the best they could. I want to thank them for they’re caring and understanding. I can say the pricing was what I was expecting and the service was as good as I would expect anywhere else. Thank you again guys, I wouldn’t hesitate coming to your facility if needed in the future.

Friday Max threw up a couple times. Saturday he wasn’t himself. We kept an eye on him. Sunday he wasn’t any better. So we went to Urgent Pet Care. The vet on duty checked him, took X-rays, and determined there was a chance that Max had a blockage in his intestinal track. She wasn’t positive and wanted to be sure so she sent the X-rays to an expert. He or she determined that there was a blockage. We returned to Urgent Care and talked over the different courses of action we could take. We decided to have surgery performed to remove the object. Max stayed at Urgent Care and we went home. Just before one o’clock we received a call from Urgent Care. They were not going to do surgery after all. I don’t know how it came about but they determined that the obstruction had made it to the colon. They said we should come pick him up. They felt he would give birth to a Trump shortly after he got home. Indeed he did. He had eaten one of my wife’s socks. Max is fine now. Urgent Care gave us excellent service. I was very impressed. I hope I never have to use their services again but if my dog should again have a serious problem I will use them.
Our elderly dog started going downhill quickly over the course of a couple days, and we made the decision to bring her to urgent care, worried she wouldn't make it through the night. I was beyond impressed with the care she received. Dr. Vinson explained how concerned she was, and what tests she wanted to perform. She kept me updated throughout the night with our dog's lab results and possible diagnoses. She was very honest, but sympathetic. We ended up transferring our dog to their sister clinic in Papillion so she could be observed 24/7, and got equally excellent care there. The cost, though high, was expected for all the tests done, and they give you the estimate upfront. They offer 2 kinds of payment plans, which was a relief. Our dog was unfortunately beyond saving, but if the need ever arises, I will absolutely go to Urgent Care again.
As usual, I was impressed with the care my dog received. I thought it was a little unusual that I had to suggest an Xray, however; but maybe not under the particular circumstances. I was pleased that the doctor considered my request and followed through, even saying it turned out to be a good idea. Thank you, I am glad you are here!
One of my guinea pigs bit my baby in the eye, he was in soo much pain and that eye was not looking good at all. Dr. Buhr was extremely sweet and kind with us she even prayed for him, that is a great christian lady right there if you ask me! Baby Blue got all better and healed up in just 1 week. Thanks soo much to the caring staff and that wonderful doctor. The cost was very rasonable for being an Urgent Vet Care
The staff is great but the fact that there isn't any type of payment program is bull. Some of us cant afford to pay hundreds / thousands of dollars at the time of service and my animal is suffering because of it.
Our Grand dog got into some paint balls and wasn’t doing good at all. We were not sure if he was going to make it. Gus our family pug was so sick when we took him in. After urgent pet care doctors and staff took care of him overnight he needed time to heal and some meds! He got to come home the next day and now he is doing better!!! This place is AMAZING!!! Highly Recommended!!!
The staff and doctors here were all very knowledgeable and understanding while treating our 18 year old cat. They made Midnight comfortable until we were ready for her to be put down. It's never easy to make the decision to put a fur baby down, but Urgent Pet Care West made it as smooth as possible. Thanks again, staff and doctors, Midnight is no longer in pain.
