My family and I went on a day trip from Glacier to Waterton Park in Alberta Canada. No issues going into Canada at all, however on way back across back into Montana the border patrol officers performed an illegal search of my vehicle without even asking. They just opened the doors and back of our rented Yukon. Blatant misuse of power and a great example of how they even treat their own citizens. As a former Marine I expect to be treated with some respect. Disgusted by this interaction.

Super nice and helpful officers, no lines, open exactly at 9am. This station closes on Oct 1.

Very nice agents, but we've been waiting at the gate for 2 hours now for it to open. We've been here since the posted opening time of 7am and it's now 9am and still no movement. Perhaps these hours of operation are incorrect and need to be updated, but either way, definitely takes a lot of time out of your morning.

Very personable, friendly, and professional at this crossing. They have a tough job and I appreciate how they do it. Having your passport and a G.O.E.S. card is a definite plus. I've never ever had an issue at any border or portal, but then I pay attention and don't act like an entitled A.

We were trapped at the border, on the US side, after having to bail into Canada from a backpacking trip at Glacier National Park and the border officers were very helpful in securing our group of 7 a ride back to civilization. Although the officers were ultimately unsuccessful in getting park officials to send a shuttle our way, they went above and beyond to try and secure our safe travel back to where our vehicle was parked and for that our group was very grateful.
