Wintered here in ‘99-‘00. Facilities are better than staying in the field. DFAC food is better than any Navy mess I was ever in. Ironically we got more freedoms back in boot camp. Looks like they’ve really let the sand volleyball court go... I can remember getting wet and sandy and then working into the wee hours re-spit shining boots.

Worst place to go to school at especially in the winter! Fleet returns are treated just like boot camp students and not given any extra privileges, they will not put E4 or higher in leadership roles they will put an E2 or E3 in charge of you and ot goes to there head most of the time.
