I have had my vacuum serviced here for years, but my most recent experience was not good. A belt was replaced and beater bar “cleaned”, but the connection to the hose and beater bar was PACKED full of hair, dirt, junk , etc when I went to use it a few weeks after service. I wonder if it was ever cleaned as said!

I took my vacuum to the vacuum cleaner center because they were authorized to do the warranty work on my Electrolux about a year ago. I had a temporary vacuum cleaner so getting my repaired one back wasn't a priority. Around November I remembered but the store was closed when I tried to swing by. A few weeks later I called and they couldn't seem to find it, but said they'd get back to me. When they got back to me they said they couldn't find it and asked for the claim ticket. I don't believe I ever received a claim ticket for it, and now they are saying there is nothing they can do. They lost it and it's too bad for me. Ridiculous. I will never do business with these folks and recommend the same to all my friends and family. Stay away!
Adele had difficulty repairing my Rainbow Vacuum, because the new part from Rainbow was different from the original, and Rainbow didn't send new schematics, and wouldn't help when she called them. After a couple of failed attempts to get it working, the owner decided to provide me with a brand new motor, instead, to make up for lost time and trouble. I will have the equivalent of a brand new vacuum, for less than what the motor, itself, cost. THAT is what I consider good service, and why I will continue to take all of my repairs to them. David
I love my new retractable central vacuum system. I now have a valve on each level of my house, with the hose stored in the wall, and the collection tank is in the utility room. I also have a Vroom under the kitchen counter for quick clean ups there. For years I've had problems vacuuming due to shoulder pain when pushing an upright machine, and allergies due to the dust smell coming back out of it, even with a fabric hepa bag & filter. Now, with only the light weight attachments to move around the home, my shoulder doesn't hurt even after vacuuming a whole level's worth of carpet. With the tank sealed & in a corner of the basement, I don't smell any dust anymore and can finally vacuum without an allergy mask on (or getting a headache if I don't wear one). It has really changed my ability to keep up with cleaning my home. If I spill flour or something during baking, the vroom is great to grab and instantly have the mess gone. My installation was in an existing home, and other than the new valve plates (about the size of a double light switch cover) I couldn't really even tell anyone had changed anything. The owner explained what would and wouldn't work with the design of the house, and the installation was done just as I'd expected.
Very friendly, took a look at the issue right away, helped figure it out with no need to get fixed. This has been my place for many years!! Always get my vacuum cleaner fixed here and my bags!
