What a surprisingly interesting museum! Instead of some dusty (ahem) old collection of junky pieces you will find a restored and well cared for, chronologically-arranged collection with a docent-led tour. I found it intriguing to see the pieces, arranged decade-by-decade, evolve from crude devices to ever-improving, sophisticated machines. Each decade is also set among furniture and flooring from the period for a dash of authenticity. Two notable pieces were the "retired" vacuum from Air Force One (George W. Bush) and the one used by the mother of James Earl Jones...somehow particularly fascinating! Free admission.

Not really any way to rate it because there's no comparison. But it was free, clean, and interesting. Be sure to use your GPS: I didn't see any signs after I exited the freeway until pretty much their driveway.

What an interesting place to visit. Vacuums front the turn of the century until today. From hand pumps to plug ins. It the perfect place to see the history of vacuums. In fact they all work too. Tom the caretaker is so knowledgeable about the vacuums that are displayed. I recommend this place for everyone.

I couldn't believe this place existed so I had to stop. So cute and fun! A must stop if you're passing through! It only takes a minute and afterwards you can say you've been to the vacuum museum! I actually learned quite a bit and the man there was super nice and funny.

Interesting little place. Saw this on TripAdvisor and decided to make a stop since we like to take in unusual roadside attractions while traveling. So glad we did. The displays are laid out by years, and not only is there a vast collection of vacuums but also ads/signage from throughout the years. We got quite a chuckle out of the ads from the 50s and 60s (I was born in 1955 so I remember some of these from my childhood). The guy that ran the place was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. It's free and well worth a quick stop!!

Wonderful place to visit to see unique vacuums from 1900's to modern day. Staff is very friendly too. You can purchase vacuum museum shirts, key chains, post cards, and even Riccar or Simplicity vacuum cleaners and supplies for Riccar/Simplicity
