Attempted to check out Triple A's twice. Stopped by a few days back, looking to get some work done on an old Winchester '64 but I wanted to check their store out and talk shop. Was told at the door that because I didn't have my CA driver license on me I couldn't come in, showed him my Active Duty military ID and was told he needed a copy of my orders. Understandable. Before leaving the guy asked what I was looking for and I said, maybe a mini30, mini14 or a M14 and was told they didn't have any. Came back a week later at 2:40pm on a Tuesday and the same guy told me they were on lunch to come back later. I started to leave and he asked again what I was looking for, when I said a mini14, mini30 or an M14 he asked if I could afford one. Super strange. I said I'd come back and was told that without a Gun Safety card he legally couldn't let me in the store. When I brought up my CCW he said that wasn't good enough. Strange experience, and a drag, looks like a great store and has really good reviews. Unfortunately I'll take my business elsewhere.

I want to give this place a 1 star since they have taken so much of my money! Haha but they get a 5 start since they offer a selection of great firearms at great prices! Staff is great and knowledgeable too! If you're looking for a new firearm check these guys out! Trust me you wont be disappointed at all! Also they also offer blue label glocks! Huge selection on Blue line products too!

Do yourself a favor and research what documents you will need before you try and buy a firearm, once you get passed that step....it’s time to come here. For the people that know what they want....this place is for you. And for people who are new but eager to learn and listen...this place is also for you. Selection is bar far one of the biggest in the Bay Area.

Triple A's Sporting Goods is the best place to find that gun your looking for. They have the best staff, and selection. Put this place on the top of your list. And Einstein the dog loves that they are dog friendly!
