This place was the most rude experience I ever had. The lady spoke down to my son while checking him out. (the one child of mine whose heart is bigger than life!) He simply asked her to “please” wrap the gift he was buying for his grandmother. She replied, I’ll do it in minute when I’m done with this, don’t rush me.” I waited until I’d loaded all the kids in the car and went back in. She then tried to say, the kids were handling everything. I said, “Did they break anything? If so, I’ll gladly pay for it.” (They didn’t break anything, and were respectful) She then proceed to yell at me to get out or she’s going to call the police. I said are you kidding me, are you the owner of this establishment? She never would answer. I told her ma’am your behavior is appalling and I will leave a review online. No embellishments here and nothing out of context. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great place
I want to say this is a beautiful store with friendly staff. I was in the store today when a family was in there. The children were handling everything and being very disrespectful. The father became upset at the owner and was very rude to her. I could tell she felt threatened because this man was a huge man towering over her. She is a 70 something yrs old woman. I know he posted a review because he told her he would. So if you see this review it is false. This is a wonderful place to visit we love it.
Shopping at the Miracle Pottery when visiting Mentone is the highlight of my weekend holidays there! I have been adding to my Biscuits & Gravy collection for some time now. I always enjoy the visit and treasure each piece. Each one is a piece of art. You will want to make this a part of your Mentone memories too!
I bought the oval platter with the handles for 119.00. I did as was instructed with heat up and it cracked right down the middle which they replaced. The second one did the same thing and both were only in a 350 degree oven. I called the owner and she said she would not replace it. This place sells absolute junk for high dollar prices. I will never set foot in her store again. Dont waste your time and certainly not your money. The pottery here IS NOT ovenproof. The 119.00 I wasted here would have been put to better use at Walmart buying Pyrex. There is nothing MIRACULOUS about Miracle Pottery.
