Extremely special place, 10/10 experience. I was prescribed clonazapam for 8 years and cold turkeyed the medication at home. I was pretty much dying when I showed up to Valley Hope. I was also drinking to manage withdrawal symptoms. Benzo withdrawal is a nightmare but Valley Hope saved my life. Their nursing staff is incredible, and counselors Joseph, Ed, and Chris made a bad situation an unforgettable one. Rehab is not supposed to be fun but this is probably the best one in DFW. Highly recommend, also shockingly affordable for the high level of care. I had a great experience and it saved my life. Very 12 step based, you must lean towards the experience to get the most out of it. Shout out to the entire nursing staff especially Susan Rachel Alex and MC. Chaplain Kay is amazing also. Food is excellent also and they allow nicotine which I greatly needed while going through withdrawal. I was actually planning on going to some fancy 50k rehab in Tucson but glad I came here instead.

This was the worst decision I ever made by sending my son to this place! Terrible, uneducated , clueless people! Save your money and time and send your loved one to west palm , that’s where they understand the real deal and actually help them !

Was a fantastic place in 2005-2014 but the it changed you could visit meaning alumni could visit anytime pretty much, however around 2014 you couldn't just walk in and visit and try to help and be in a safe space it was like you were a invader trying to do something wrong by simply visiting

This place was absolutely amazing. The ENTIRE staff - counselors, techs, nurses, and chaplains - were the most caring people I have ever met. They really and truly care about your recovery. I learned so much during my residential stay and I am continuing to learn while doing their outpatient program. I was able to acquire the tools and skills to start my life over again. I am grateful for this place and what it has done for me. I'd give them 5 stars any day!

Disorganized and just in it to make money even though they are non-profit. A couple of the counselors are wonderful but most are clueless. The administration is completely unorganized. Good luck on getting your meds, the nursing dept Is as bad as the administration. Since discharge, it is impossible to get someone to return a call. So just pray you have no insurance problems. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY. Note all my other reviews. I have many and the huge majority are extremely positive to the vendor. These people are inept and DO NOT have the patients best interests in their list of priorities.
