This hidden gem in Valley Village is one of my favorite cafe to eat Russian, Ukrainian, and European food. I love cozy open-air outdoor patio atmosphere and blooming trees inside. People are sweet and welcoming. It's perfect for Sunday brunch or get together dinner or birthday celebration. The food is delicious and authentic with many interesting choices for everyone. My personal favorite for a desert is Cheese Blintzes, it just melts in your mouth.

Great ambiance, good service, and delicious food." "A great place for excellent Russian food." "Bottled drinks only, so you have to pay for water."

This place is a real authentic Russian cuisine. I went with my Ukrainian girlfriend and let her do all of the ordering and every dish was so spot on that she missed home afterwards. If you need, they have menus in Russian.

This is a very basic, mostly outdoors restaurant. Not romantic; familial. Lots of men eating in groups. Two loud TVs blaring odd Russian comedy. The food was mixed: some very good (stuffed cabbage, blintzes), some poor (cabbage/mixed dumplings, bread). It's OK, but I'm giving it 2 stars to balance the way-out-of-place 5 star reviews here. There is no alcohol to be had here - IGNORE the "BYOB" note, it's not true. Bottled drinks only, so you have to pay for water. 4 adults and one child: 95.
