As close to feeling \at home\ that you'll get if you're in a bad position and homeless. They do everything they can to ensure safety and get you to important appointments when you lack your own transportation. Truly a relief and the best \shelter\ around. (I hate using that term to describe this place because it doesn't feel like a typical shelter versus The Caring Place & St. Jude house!)

My experience with them is hardly an experience. I had high hopes that they would be able to help my sister and her two small children. Only for her to be turned away. Told that there is a waitlist....and she has to have a porter county address, she is HOMELESS. She has no address. Like I said, had high hopes only to be let down in a real time of desperation. The website should mention a waitlist if that is how they operate. Emergency shelter is just that....EMERGENCY. Disappointed.
