I can't say enough great things about Baymark Aviation. As a student working on my private pilot certificate, their friendly, dependable, fairly-priced, and well-organized operation have been invaluable to me. They offer something for everyone, no matter what your experience level is. Their staff is top notch; Brian, Carolina, Vazgen and Jonathan have been incredibly supportive and friendly to me. Pricing on rentals is extremely fair and billing is impeccably organized and honest. You really get a lot of value for your money, as Baymark's fleet is among the cleanest and best maintained that I've seen thus far at KVNY or anywhere else. Their after-hours access is crucial, especially for someone trying to juggle their flying time with other life commitments. Lastly, their facilities are clean and welcoming, reflecting the quality of the airplanes they rent and instruct out of. That may seem like an insignificant detail, but when I walk into an FBO that looks like a disaster zone, it makes me wonder about the quality of the aircraft they own and maintain. There are enough challenging factors in aviation, and I'm pleased to say that flying out of Baymark isn't one of them. They keep me safe, satisfied, and most importantly... airborne. Top marks all around!

This flight school is amazing, I've recently got back to flying after a few years, Daniel and the entire crew gave me a great experience. The fleet is well maintained the crew is very dedicated and pushes you forward to your goal and the environment is just great. If your looking for a great school, look no more. give Baymark staff the chance and you will not regret it. Highly recommended.
They overcharge students here. I got a lot of unnecessary flights that's there one way to milk you. They will insist you to fly even on 15 knots wind. They got no local DPE you have to wait for the DPE from Arizona to have a group check ride so even though you're ready your gonna wait for other students to catch up with your level. Always watch your hobbs inn and out they will overcharge your bill.
Spent a few days renting and taking some instruction at Baymark in mid July 2018 and cannot speak more highly about this outfit. Well-maintained fleet, accommodating and friendly staff, fair pricing and everything else you would hope to find at a club/FBO serving a GA airport. Even helped me arrange a tower tour. Don’t miss a chance to fly with these folks if you are at Van Nuys——I certainly won’t. Frank M.
I just want to thank all the crew working at BayMark Aviation for being outstanding to say the least! Always willing to accommodate everyone’s need at their very best of efforts! Always promptly giving you honest answers instead of the convenient lie that is often to be given in aviation (by being such of overall expensive industry). I have been there for few months now, working on my private, and believe me when I say that there are plenty of other choices around here in VNY by the famous 16R if you want to learn how to fly.... But I am getting great learning in trade of a very fair price! I could not be happier with my choice! You still are the one that has to do the bulk of the work, but I can easily say that every time I had something to which I needed clarification on, I have gotten my answer and the reason why that was the right answer....which I think is how every educational program should be. BayMark is the right school if you want to learn how to fly without being taken advantage.
