I have been a resident here almost 5 years. Most of my ideas about the place are good, but as to the food, only that at breakfast or in the bistro are any good. It is boring and the only activity i enjoy is to play cards. Since COVID we have not been able to play much until this last week even though no residents have had the virus.

I'm an occasional harpist for Memory Care. Staff are wonderful, residents are appreciative. Food always smells delicious!

My mother was a resident at Glenwood for more than seven years. She moved through their graduated care from independent living through the enhanced care building. Throughout her journey, she was always treated with love and respect. I am unable to to find the words to fully express my appreciation at the caring attention she was given. Indeed, if I ever move to a retirement community, Glenwood would absolutely be my first choice.

My parents lived at Glenwood for 6 years. Our experience with the entire staff was very positive and as a family, we are very satisfied and grateful for the loving care they received.

If you want to put your loved one in harm's way, you have arrived. With active COVID-19 cases, even when you have asked to provide private care, in your parent's own apartment, you are denied to have access, and Memory Care, that was verified a COVID outbreak area may be where they go. If you are working with a sibling that provides a fake POA, you can be guaranteed that Glenwood will take it so rest assured, they are definitely about making money off the elderly. They are unethical and not to be trusted on any level. This is a place that does not provide adequate care and denies doctor's visits as well as they do not follow protocols set up by the primary physician. My mother has fallen 18 times since April of this year with no explanation other than she is not looked after. Couple this with COVID and not being to actually see your parent is beyond crazy. If you want a detailed bill, they can't provide it as it goes off a point system. Think you're paying one amount, good luck finding out the truth of what your parent is being charged! I'm speaking on behalf of all of my family. Beware of this place!! They are far from ethical. They do not have your parent's best interest. They are a FOR PROFIT company, getting funding for COVID19.
