We like the overall outcome of the structure but the communication, follow-up, unfinished work and deficient latches took away 2 stars. Justin was nice to work with as he can see what would work best for spaces and painted a good picture. We wanted our hot tub enclosed so it is more inviting year round. The project was not cheap! The space is great and we get to enjoy a nice view while we relax without the wind, rain, and debris all over us. What we would have liked to see is Justin pop in during the project to check the quality of the work and progress, but he didn't until it was done. Our project was tricky as we had the elements of a hot tub including steam, humidity, and water overflow. We needed drain holes for the water and that took multiple visits to get done and the last visit they drilled in the wrong place. We never got all of our drain holes placed and we never heard back from Justin. The window latches are kind of tough to use, the screen door sticks when it slides, and the sliding door lock doesn't latch. The communication wasn't great between him and us, or him and his crew it seemed. The crew that built the structure was really nice and hardworking. The guy he used for the concrete was nice although the communication wasn't awesome either. But the concrete does look nice as he stamped a nice pattern and stained it. The gutter drain ended up not being placed where we discussed it being placed so we had to have our yard crew install a drainage system for that. So, for the amount of time this business has been around the communication and follow-up should be much better. Recommendations for improvement: Better communication, follow-up with incomplete work, clean-up of material scraps (there was ALOT of sharp scraps and screws left all over the place), and perhaps cleaning the windows after install as a nice gesture.

We have a 'jumbly' roof line over our patio and just thought we would have to settle for a tiny lean-to situation for this always baking-hot area. Justin was amazing. Not only was he able to deal with our odd situation, but he designed an absolutely beautiful patio cover that compliments our home and patio perfectly. He and his crew are so friendly and polite and the work was done quickly and cleanly (and perfectly!). The material he used cuts the heat dramatically and we now are always able to enjoy our patio - rain or shine and every season! We also had glass panels installed to protect the outdoor kitchen on his recommendation. Very nice! We are the envy of the neighborhood and are super happy we found Justin and his team!
Justin and his team put up amazing patio covers! Our new patio cover is the envy of all our neighbors and has greatly exceeded our expectations. My maintenance king and super knowledgeable father in-law even pulled me aside to tell me he was impressed. The installation crew was very respectful of our property, was very easy to work with and did an excellent job of caulking and making sure there would be no issues in the future. The new patio cover has given us a fabulous outdoor living space and I would highly recommend the Patio Cover People if you are looking to make an investment that will increase both the value of your home and your lifestyle.
It's been over a year since we had our cover installed. We had a multilevel roof line and VERY large patio that needed covering. After consulting with the owner on what is optional, we pulled the trigger and had the cover installed. The workers were very polite and worked very clean! I would've never know they were here. One panel had a slight defect, that we wouldn't have noticed. But the installers did and said they'll order a new one to replace this one. Everything worked out great. We're still very happy with our choice and would hire them again if we ever need to.
Have reached out to this company 5 separate times and gotten no response. From the other reviews, it seems customer service is definitely not their strong suit.
