I visited a couple times in the last few years, and each time I've had a great experience. The are kind and non judgmental, all about the unity of people

it's lovely to worship with out the fire n damnation rules of most religious church beliefs. I loved the words of the themes to understand how to be a better person no matter your religious preferences. spirituality comes from within. Anna Fields-Pagan Witch

Unitarians are not real warm people. Many are wounded ducks. They're not going to hold your hand. The current minister is perceptive & diligent, but the congregation itself does a lot of the leading. Membership includes a lot of people in their 70s. There are children & children's programs. Some members are Christian; many are not. There is frequently a large, calm service dog on a leash sitting outside before 2nd service, then going in. You have to be a librarian to understand where your nametag is kept in the series of nametags. The acoustics are perfectly medium, nothing too loud & not too quiet. If you park in the west lot, there are no stairs into the service or children's programs & coffee hour is also at the chapel. Coffee hour has meant holding a cup & plate while balancing a purse, without a table or seating. However, when the chapel is used for meetings after service, then the library is open for coffee hour, & it has many tables/chairs. The kitchen staff are clean & friendly. Please consider volunteering in the kitchen and bringing snacks. Lactose free milk or creamer is usually offered but dishes containing gluten, eggs or nuts are not labeled. You need a food handler's card. The grounds are lovely & there is a play area. There are many activities every week, as well as after service on Sundays during the holidays. The facility is clean.

Very friendly, like-minded fellowship. Many opportunities to get to know members in smaller, informal groups.

All accepting and tolerant congregation.
