I am not Catholic , went there for a memorial service .. St Gertrudes is a part of Vandergrift History... It is beautiful inside .. if you are of the Catholic faithful , you will enjoy their services and Homilies... Very Historical.. lots of parking and Handicap parking.. God Bless Keith...

It's not as beautiful as it was when i was a kid. They painted over all the beautiful art work. But my father did a lot for the church and it still has a great many nice people their. The midnight Christmas mass was very nice. About 200 people came.
I grew up in Vandergrift and remember going to mass. Back then you were not allowed to wear pants to church. had to wear gloves and your head had to be covered.
The true Church of Jesus Christ ! Father Michael Scaberious is a Excellent Priest to listen to and a true man of God !
