The veggie rad with added tomato. Not sure what's in the veggie sausage, but it's the best I've ever had. Tomato needed though. It's just too rich without it (for me anyways... but any egg and cheese is to me, without tomato).

We liked Flake so much that we went here twice when we stayed in Santa Monica. I first got the bacon & egg breakfast burrito which I thought was amazing. On my second visit I got the Ninja Acai bowl and it was even better. If you want a nice local place for a quick and good breakfast, go to Flake.
Good varied menu of sandwiches, beigals etc. Staff were helpful and willing to heat up a tin of baked beans if my friend brought them in, to serve with the breakfast he wanted. I had a toasted muffin with peanut butter, nuttella, banana and bacon, .. lovely and not something I'd have thought of combining. Be warned though.... my friends had one of the spicy sandwiches and they were very spicy hot ! The outside seating area was nice to sit in and just watch the world go by.
