I walked into the park one day unknowingly and there was Will jamming out to “call me maybe” while ripping through the snake run (don’t let the song choice fool you) and he took a hard halt from jamming out and before I knew it he had me sending laps too and coaching me through each step of the way! He totally just took me under his wing. Carver skaters alike- I hadn’t really been in the bowl and was super intimidated- Will made it super fun and beyond exciting. He brings such an energy to the whole experience. Genuinely cares and wants to help others learn and be better and he really has a talent for it. Also accepts payments in the form of vegan cinnamon rolls.

Will is a great teacher for people of all ages and skill levels. He’s patient, encouraging & has the student’s best interest in mind. Will really helped 2 of our sons grow in their confidence & technique.
Will is the best teacher and coach you can ever have, period. My son and I have been taking lessons with him since summer 2016. He is an amazing athlete and an even more amazing human being. His positive attitude and funny personality make learning fun- to find someone this cool will change your life - I know he has for us! Thanks Will! Can't wait to get back out there!!!
Will is an awesome coach!! I can snowboard but I’ve never been able to master, let alone even get started on a skateboard — plus I’ve always been nervous about falling on hard ground. Will crushed my fears and helped me get on the board no problem! He helped me learn quickly and even gave me some “homework” to do when I’m by myself. I’m excited for our next session! Skateboarding has been so fun and is a cool new way for me to get around town. Thanks Will! You’re the best!!!
Will is such an awesome and fun skate instructor! I always have loved to skate, but felt like I needed that extra support to improve and have more fun with it. Will is patient, he has the most genuine energy, and is always being cognizant and receptive of how you can improve. He helped me step out of my comfort zone and encouraged a new passion of mine. Most definitely look forward to skating with Will again!
I was BUZZING when I got Will as my teacher. I literally had zero experience but he made it so fun and easy to learn. He's also such a character and his energy is amazing... you will have the best time with Will!
Will’s a wonderful teacher, I absolutely adore him! I’ve always wanted to learn how to skateboard and he really got me to a place I didn’t think I could ever achieve. The best part about learning with Will is that he’s patient and is just a fun guy to be around. Super great experience, highly recommend.
I have been skateboarding my whole life and recently took up surfing, I had a hard time learning how to flow the wave. Will helped me as an advanced skater work on my turns while skateboarding which directly improved my surfing the Venice beach rat is awesome at improving your skate game at any level!
