You would be hard pressed to find a more well rounded program that is dedicated to providing a quality education to those from an \Educationally Under-served Community.\ My two son's and two nephews are recent graduates of Verbum Dei. I have one last nephew that is still at VERB. They have a 100% graduation rate and 100% of the kids that GRADUATE from Verb, are accepted to college. If, for whatever reason, you are able to start at Verb, yet not finish, that says less about Verbum Dei and more about you and your character. If you give Verbum Dei your son, for the full 4 years, they will return to you a man. \VERB MADE

Verbum Dei is a great school. I would recommend this school to anyone. The work study program truly gives the students an advantage when seeking a professional job. I now work at a Television studio and I can honestly say that the experience earned through the work study program paid off.
I wish I could give it less than one star. WORST High School experience of my life! That is no exaggeration. Luckily, I only attended this school my freshman - junior year. I still question up to this day how half of the teachers got hired. The teacher's CAN'T teach, and I've encountered far better teachers who care about their jobs and their students at other schools. I don't want to say all the students were snotty because there were some (VERY few) nice ones that made the place a little more bearable. The school is FULL OF BULLIES & would harass you for any little thing. In my case just for being me i would get bullied, name called, cyber bullied by the students at the school. The teachers would do NOTHING about it, but CLAIM they do not tolerate bullying which is a TOTAL LIE! This kind of behavior seems to be encouraged in this school, and I can see why it might--- but I won't mention my theory just in case I get reported for foul language. Anyways, thank you Verbum Dei for a horrible high school experience that I hope I can forget.
They say a school is run by the student’s drive to learn and participate and be activley involved in school events and activities. But what i am to this day still having a hard time understanding is how a school with so many rules and regulations encourages students to be involved. Verbum dei is no school but instead a prison because only prisons have more rules than there are laws and the worst part about it that makes it feel even more like a prison is the fact that there is no clear consenses on what rules are in place and at what extreme is a rule broken. The so called “rules” present at this “school” change more times a week than a person changes his or her personality every day. If there was a no star raiting option this school would be the one to give it to.
Verbum Dei is an excellent school! The only reason my son left was because we moved. Missing the Eagle Nation!
Verb is an awesome school because they prepare youfor college and the SAT in ninth grade. Also, they make sure your a-g requirements are met. Verb staff really cares for us and doesn't let us become but helps us become men with and for others.
