I was working out of state in California. My cell phone service from my home state didn’t work as good as I wanted due to roaming. I decided to try this Lathrop location. To try out Verizon’s service. I waited 3 hours after a long work day to get the phone and service. I wanted to keep my same phone number and have it transferred to the new Verizon phone and service line. I could never get the Verizon phone to to accept calls . My old service carrier phone would still receive and make phone calls and the new Verizon line would just make phone calls. After not being happy with this service and standing in line for hours to get service at this location, I decided to cancel the service within the allotted trial period with Verizon. I paid all the prorated fees and turned the low end Samsung phone in. All was received and accepted by the Verizon sales staff. And I was told my obligations were completed and I was released. I then recently received a collection email months later for over 100 outstanding bill! And collection calls! Wow! Even after cancelling earlier within the allotted trial time period and paying my prorated bill. My experience here was TERRIBLE! Currently disputing this ridiculous service error!
