I had such a great experience with VHAH bringing my turtle in today for the first time. The people who helped me book my appointment were super kind, responsive, and emailed me beforehand with an opportunity to explain her background and current issues. The vet who saw her, Dr. Caseltine, was super kind and knowledgeable, and the tech who picked her up was very friendly as well. This was my first time bringing my turtle anywhere and I'm so happy I found a great place so close to us.

I was referred by a neighbor to Vernon Hills Animal Hospital she spoke highly of them. Took both my cats to them. Right when you walk into the office you are greeted with a smile. I have a cat who is very skiddish and doesn't like dogs. They allow you to check in while your sitting in your car outside. A tech will come out and get you when a room is open. Love it!! Molly McCullough,D.V.M is our veterinarian love love love her so caring and genuinely nice. After my Kobe cat passed the entire staff signed a very sweet card with their condolences. I recommend you checking out this office first you will not seek out another office after you meet the staff.

My daughter called everywhere trying to get her snake in to be seen, and she finally found VHAH. She was extremely nervous, as this is her first snake and she had no idea on protocol. The staff and Dr were AMAZING!! They treated her and her snake with so much care. She was put at ease and they explained everything they would do, offered suggestions on some extra care and talked with her instead of at her. She was able to provide feedback freely and felt comfortable asking questions. Definitely have recommended them to others. Much appreciated.

Covid has changed many things procedurally wherever you go. Bringing your pet in for an examination is of no exception. While watching the office staff and techs working harder than ever, running in and out (thank you so much) on a recent COLD morning visit, it'll be better when things go back to normal. I'll be patiently waiting to bring in my other pet when that happens!

Thank to everyone, starting with the receptionist who answered The Phone was polite and well informed, and ending with the doctor who took care of my kitty, Blake when he was sick and sad and got out sick but happy since we could know what was wrong, thanks for the professionalism and the good price of the place I was able to take it to the doc in not longer than 2 hrs, Blake is so blessed, and besides of all they gave me a folder full of information about pet and a beautiful “health record” booklet where me as a cat owner can track all their appointments with the doctor, vaccinations, and more! So glad I called and they were able to take my little angel in. Thank you. I highly recommend this place.
