What an extremely wonderful experience! We came on father's day after a baseball game. If you get a chance to visit and love history, we encourage it. We will definitely be back to research a few names for civil war. Everyone was so friendly!

A hidden gem for history buffs! Check out their website for really interesting presentations! We attended the fall \haunted history\ talk last year and learned about some local civil war soldiers, the museum's resident ghost! We just went to a talk about the making of the movie \Gettysburg\, presented by actor Patrick Falci, who played Lieut. General A.P. Hill in the movie. Energetic and lively, highly informative and interesting \behind the scenes\ of an epic movie by a consummate actor and Civil War historian! If you weren't there and you are a Civil War buff, you missed out on a fantastic evening! Check out their programs, and don't miss out again!!
