I, too, was hesitant to buy a door sight unseen. However, this is one solid door that has received compliment after compliment at our home. I waited for some time before posting this review because we live in an area that gets some extreme temperatures, and I wanted to measure the door temps as we purchased the thermally broken/cold weather option. I'm no statistician, but this iron door temp stays in the range of our window temps (see chart/photo), which seems reasonable to me; perhaps not as much warmth as we would hope, but so much of the door is glass, that's expected. The manufacturing times were a bit slow, and the wrong door handle was sent, but, this was not a deterrent for us or was remedied quickly. We were also a bit scared off by the delivery process - quite a bit you have to agree to with the delivery, but the door was packaged so beautifully, there were really no concerns other than how to get a 500-pound package up our driveway. We hired a GC to install the door, which went very well. We received great support from Pinky's - called them a couple of times and used the FAQs on their website. The door was part of a larger project to renovate our exterior, and has done the job nicely. We haven't experienced really much fading or any issues after months and months. The optional screen door is fantastic, letting the air flow through nicely (although sometimes it falls off - we just need more magnets). It's an absolutely gorgeous door that many people have asked about or gawked at from the street. Conclusion: In a heartbeat, I would (and will) buy from Pinky's again.

Pinky's did a great job from start to finish. You sometimes take a risk purchasing sight-unseen online but if you are considering an iron door (I bought the Air 8 Double Arch) rest assured you will be satisfied. They met their quoted lead time and it showed up expertly packed so it could arrive intact. Very heavy duty door. Great job Team Pinky's, thank you.

Our experience was great. Communication was clear and frequent, and they even sent us some touch up paint for a small scratch, which made me very happy. Thank you to the Pinky’s team for all of their help.

From the beginning to the end dealing with Pinky’s door has been nothing but outstanding! Emil with logistics was super helpful but the real rockstar is Dylan. All day I had to call him about questions with install and he went above and beyond for me! He used his own personal phone to FaceTime just so he could help me out as much as possible. My Contractor was out of town and his guys putting the doors in spoke little English no problem Dylan was able to get one of their staff members to help. If you have any doubt about this company or their doors I’m here to tell you don’t. I also had my door delivered all the way to Alabama and the transport went seamless. Thank you for being true to your word!

If I could give six stars I would. The door I bought, is very very high quality. Extremely strong, heavy duty and precise. The welds...what welds?.. you can’t see any welds because they’re smoothed out, so everything looks like it was cast as one piece. Did I say quality, because I can’t stress that enough....quality, quality, QUALITY. One surprise benefit I got from my door, is the weather proofing. My old wooden door was very drafty and cold. But as I mentioned above, the quality, the precision, and the craftsmanship of this door shows itself, by how well it’s keeping old man winter out. I just wanted a strong, secure door, so it was a pleasant surprise not to have the front door area freezing cold. I live in the Bay Area, CA and I was hesitant about buying a door so far away. I tried to find a place up here. Their prices were to high and you could not customize. You had to buy off the shelf. I’m so glad I took the trip to Vernon, CA I don’t know the people that actually built my door. The ones that took the CAD drawing and welded up my door and created a door that will protect my family for years to come, ....Dion, can you tell them thank you for me. And to the sales people at Pinky’s Iron Doors, Michael and Adrian.... thanks a million. And a special thank you to Dion. Thank you for a quality product, and thank for keeping your dads vision going, I know he’s proud. John F
