Great kayak ride in the Indian river. Rented a two person kayak from Paddles by the Sea for two hours to tour this area. Multiple mangrove islands to tour around. Saw lots of birds, jumping fish, and a couple of dolphins. Chris was very friendly and helped us get our equipment: tandem boat, paddles, and life jackets before we launched from the easy launch device at the end of the dock. We tried to stay away from the wider sections of the river because on a windy day it is harder to paddle. Staying in the narrower part of the river and bays allowed for easy paddling.

First time here and first time paddle boarding in general. Overall, it is a great spot to do this kind of stuff. Paddle boarding was easier than I expected it to be. Waves were flat today with minimal boats nearby. Made for an overall great day. Staff was friendly too with informing us where to paddle to and how to paddle board. If you are looking for something fun to do and being outdoors, give this a shot.

We rented a tandem kayak from here. They have a lovely launcher for the kayaks that makes getting in and out easy. The kayak was in good condition and the paddles were comfortable. Lots of islands nearby to explore. We had a great time. Lots of easy parking on site.

I rented a kayak out here as I have many times and last time the kayak kept steering in one direction and I had one of the staff members verify it. I told the company about it and they never offered an apology, refund, store credit. They rented me a shoddy kayak which I can understand not every kayak is perfect but they should have made it right and didn't . So I won't be shopping here again and I would not recommend this place.

What an amazing place. The staff were so friendly. They squashed my fears of kayaking. The woman running the rentals gave s great lesson on how to use the kayaks as well as what exactly to do if I fell out. Prices were great too. I can't wait to go back next year.

Top notch operation. This is the 4th time I have booked with Paddles over the past few years. When our grandchildren come to visit they always want to take a spin around the marina and Veterans Island. Convenient locations, staff is always congenial and helpful. They have quality equipment - kayaks and paddle boards etc. Highly recommend them!

Trey, Dante, and Chris are excellent guys who were timely, hardworking, and helpful. So glad they were there to enhance my beach experience with a paddleboard. They made sure that I had the best experience that I could.

Guys were great....communicated after hours! Had everything set up for us when we arrived. Attention to detail! Checked in with us during the stay and asked if we needed anything. Overall a great service for our cost. We will definatley use their services again.....
