VCSG is a locally-owned, family-operated small animal emergency and referral practice located in Chattanooga, TN, that opened in September 2016. Currently, we have two specialists and five emergency veterinarians on staff. Throughout the week, our specialty services are offered on a referral basis from local veterinarians. Board certified surgeons rotate on a scheduled basis to perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Each of our departments has been steadily growing since opening our doors a little over two years ago. VCSG is proud to offer cutting edge technology and medical diagnostic equipment to provide fast and reliable diagnostics and treatments.

Referred by my regular Vet and what a disappointment. After being there for 4 hours. I was basically shamed by DR. Massicotte because I couldn't afford the MRI that was over 4000 and no promise of being able to even help my beloved dog. I will say I knew it was a long shot to save her but I would have done what I could as she was my family! She passed away and what did they do but send me to a collection company 6 months later for \Services\ (no other explanation) on a day that I was never there! 35 for \services\ on the day my dog passed.. weeks after being there. How is that even possible? Never even received a bill just strait to a collection. The worst service ever as well. Staff and Dr. Massicotte were awful! they do not care about you fur babies only about money!

I wish to thank Dr. Sullivan and the staff at VCSG for their kindness and compassion to me and the dignified treatment of my dog, Jake, during his last moments on this earth last night. Loosing a cherished pet is never easy but VCSG's staff made it bearable. My heartfelt thanks to you all. .

Best emergency care vet in town! The front staff and nurses were all so kind and honest about everything and paid so much attention to detail to figure out what was bothering my dog. They didnt do any unnecessary procedures and were able to figure out the problem quite quickly! Their prices are very fair and honestly cheaper than I anticipated based on my previous experiences with other emergency vets. They are also taking the pandemic very seriously which I also appreciate!

The staff are very friendly and nice let me make that very clear. Jake the doctor was not very helpful he was not professional and seemed to just want to keep adding onto my bill after my cat staying a night they said she would need to see a neurologist and it would be 50 more the neurologist looked at her and started off with she needed more detail to what is wrong with her I take it x rays were not enough they wanted to do a mri on her when I told her no, that I would take her to my local vet she got upset about it and said they won’t do what we can do for her. At the end they are after your money and not able to help figure out what is wrong unless you are willing to keep paying more money . I paid a total of 750 for nothing.
