BAD RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY - RUDE EMPLOYEE - Spent 600 on new plants, one of them failed even after several calls and email exchanges with staff. I was told to bring it in and they would take care of it. Arrived and greeted rudely by a woman that asked for the purchase date because I didn't have the receipt. As I looked it up she ran off and sent another person over who told me they don't do returns without the original receipt, and even then we would only get 50% back or exchange value. I explained that I was told by phone to bring it in and we'd get taken care of. I went to great lengths to follow their instructions and coaching and all the other plants have turned out fine. I have called the administration office to resolve this issue, otherwise this review will remain here.
I purchased a 5 foot Canadian hemlock and some limelight hydrangeas. They are very healthy with good roots in large pots. Couldn't be happier!
We built a new house and contacted Hartman to design and install our landscaping. David Anderson did an amazing job! He met with us and listened to what I liked and incorporated it into his design. He laid out a plan for the different phases of our project. The install went off without a hitch. Hartman was very accommodating with working around the delays of our builder. We are known in our neighbor as the house with the beautiful landscaping! Thank you Hartman!
