As a wedding photographer, I love working with classic venues like Westwood Country Club. The ballroom is beautiful, especially for a lunch reception - full of light with gorgeous decor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and treated the rest of us vendors well which says a lot about providing good service! The grounds were beautiful and we had plenty of great locations for portraits. The food looked delicious and everyone at the wedding seemed to have a great time. It was a perfect wedding reception and I hope I get to work with Westwood Country Club again!
Was able to get 48 laps in the outdoor pool in this morning!
I’ve never had anything but enjoyable experiences every time I’ve been to Westwood Country Club. I’m not a member, but I’ve visited as a guest at golfing events, tennis events, pool outings and fundraising events in the main hall. All four components have not disappointed. The restaurant, back bar, pool snack bar and golf course clubhouse all serve delicious food that is managed by great staff. They have a few rules of etiquette that are to be expected at any country club, but if you’re unfamiliar with any of them, the employees are courteous and polite about helping you navigate your way as you experience all this place has to offer. If you have a chance to go as a guest, or better yet, to join, don’t hesitate.
Had a nice meal in the conference center. Service is always excellent, nice facility, great view of the golf course.
