We had cancelled our contract with WGL after the prices began to be triple what they were when we used Washington Gas directly as the supplier. Tomika from WGL has called repeatedly to try to get us to re-sign up. She even represents herself as a employee of Washington Gas. After speaking to both myself and the office manager on no less than four occasions, she had asked my front desk staff for my cell phone number to reach me on my day off. I have asked numerous times to be added to the Do Not Call List, but she always says it takes 72 hours and disregard her calls during that period of time. I told her it is harassment to continue to call, and to try to obtain information of employees at home. Do not sign a contract with them. Our bill was cheaper for the first 6 months, and then became over triple the average amount. This is almost working on SCAM level. EDIT: We received yet another call today, 6 days after my last call, which is certainly more than the 72 hours promised to remove our number. I could not be more frustrated.

WGL Energy has been our gas supplier for over a year now. The customer service has been great and we are very happy with our plan. The offer we signed up for was competitive and removed the stress of price swings. Thank you!

Our condo association has been with WGL Energy for a few years now and we have found them to be very easy to work with and responsive. We have an interruptible master account and they have helped us whenever the utility has called for us to \interrupt\ our service. They have even allowed us to remain on service through interruptions so we did not have to fire up our diesel generator. Would recommend.

There is way too much to go into, All I have to say is please beware and if you are smart stay away from WGL energy. Read the fine print, Ask them what \True-Up\ is before signing anything. Please make sure you understand what true-up really is. Hopefully you will get one of the very few customers service reps that know what they are doing .

I switched to WGL Energy for their wind power and was so happy that my family could do our part to help with the environment. With Earth Day coming up, I was reminded that when we switched two years ago, we knew we would pay slightly higher prices for wind power, but compared to other companies out there, we know we have the best price for wind.
