My mother has been a resident for a couple of years. Recently she experienced a health crisis and required additional care during the pandemic. The ED and head nurse were creative and responsive to find a way to meet her new needs and keep her family involved. Her primary care giver has been absolutely amazing and supportive, noticing what works best for her and helping her get back involved in things that bring her joy. Very grateful for the care she is receiving. And, the grounds are lovely- lots of opportunity to walk outside!

Vineyard Park at Bothell Landing is the ideal caring location for individuals who may be mostly independent but need a little help to improve their quality of life. Additionally, Vineyard Park staff are highly trained to provide assistance when medical or physical help is needed. I have seen exceptional post-op care; providing additional individual assistance and physical therapy as needed. You can always count on them to ensure that the correct medications are administered at appropriate times. The staff not only become well acquainted with their residents but also the resident's family members. I especially like the communication they provide to family members. I am well informed of any changes at the facility and they are always willing to sit down and discuss and questions I may have.

Since moving into Vineyard Park, my father's quality of life has improved. He enjoys the social connection with fellow residents. My interactions with the employees are always positive.

* UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER. Keith, you are mistaken. I have documents proving the contrary. I have spoken with RCS. No it wasnt weeks that no communication occurred. Vineyard didnt even contact me either. It was 6 days after the 20th day you are speaking of. So not even a week. Furthermore I was not notified of when the 20 days occurred. Additionally the discharge paperwork sent to myself and her DSHS caseworker, mentioned NOTHING about the level of care as being the reason for discharge. The director of Vineyard park did NOT FOLLOW THE LAW. There was also no issue of non payment. Because her check for the month was deposited. I'm certain the citations will reflect that. Look forward to an email from me documenting all of this. We used to LOVE THIS PLACE. My mom had lived there since September 2006. However this last month she needed to spend some time in rehab due to a fall. The fall was NOT Vineyards fault. Due to my moms brain injury it happens more than we would like. After the 20 day bed hold that Medicaid allows had passed. The director of this location, Laurel Simms, issued my mother a discharge notice. While she is still in rehab. Only giving her 7 days, 30 day written notice is required by law. Now she isnt allowed to return to her home or say goodbye to her friends. Washington state RCS is now involved and they WILL be issued at least one citation if not more. Almost 14 years at a place and this is how they treat a resident. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. When I have the official citation information I will most certainly update. Oh and my mom is currently their Facebook photo...the one with Elvis.
