I have been training since August of 2018. With little experience in Taekwondo classes taken when I was 6 years old, I was honestly clueless about martial arts, why I was doing them, and how many styles there are. Fast forward, I grew older, and began researching self-defense. I found learning Ving Tsun optimal because of it's close combat fighting style. Brian, the instructor, is patient, observant, and dedicated to his students and to his passion for Ving Tsun. He not only ensures our proper technique/building strength gradually, but also pauses and questions the purpose behind learning every drill or move. This is extremely helpful and keeps you mindful of why you train. The school itself is spacious and well-kept. Students are friendly and all hold a desire to push past their limits to become better. Overall, a great place to be. I am fortunate to have found Brian's school.

I have been training under Sifu Brian for seven years. I have learned important logical and abstract thinking to fight as efficiently as possible. I believe his understanding of VT is by far the best I have seen and his lineage only speaks for itself. It's a must try.
I have trained under traditional Japanese Shodokan since I was a child. However, Chinese Kung Fu specifically Wing Chun always grabbed my attention. Trying to find and learn a proper lineage of Wing Chun seemed impossible. Those for-profit DVDs and \Teach Me Anything YouTube\ are the biggest shams ever! I finally came across Brian a few months ago and after reaching out, decided to use that free trial. Brian stays true to the lineage and does not run a McDojo (belts for cash). Not only is he a great teacher by realizing each student's strengths and weaknesses but he also asks questions to make you think about the movement of and it's purpose. You can see and hear his passion for Wing Chun and how he wants this lineage to continue. I am so grateful that I crossed paths with Brian because I could not have asked for a better Sifu.
Sifu Brian is incredibly passionate and dedicated to Ving Tsun. He has truly started to master the martial arts and his explanations are short, simple, and to the point as well as realistic. He comes from an impressive lineage and deeply understands the concepts and ideas that form Ving Tsun.
