Great place and staff. I started going in here sometime around August of 2017. Took my Lancer Tactical FAL in here to get it repaired because it would not fire. They said it would be about a week before they would be able to get to it because they had a lot of guns in there at the time. Towards the end of the week after they gave me a call and let me know that my gun was operating perfectly and that it was just a wiring issue. Love the store and everyone has always been friendly with me and my sons every time we stop by. I only wish they had a store closer to where I live in Chesapeake. Keep it up!!

The location is super out of the way. about 8 months ago when I went inside to buy a belt, I asked for a large. I was told how a large isnt what I needed and I should buy a medium. I was argued with about how a medium belt is what I needed. I'm not really concerned about what I need but what I want. I ended up just buying the medium sized belt to avoid further argument and just get on with it. Sure enough, it's too small for my comfort. I ended up just giving that belt to a friend who would benefit from it. Personally, it shouldn't matter what someone feels like I need. I worked the hours to earn the dollars, I don't NEED to buy a big mac but I did thats why I wanted a large belt.
The store looks like a literal mess. Things are kind of just scattered everywhere. Nothing has a price rag on it and the employees just kind of give you a ballpark number. It may sound dumb but the lack of any sound whatsoever gives off a weird vibe. Also had a chance to play with the guy who runs the store today at the local field and literally one of the most unsportsmanlike people I’ve ever played airsoft with. Just go to ballahack, staff is friendlier and at least the items are all clearly priced and printed so you don’t have to run around questioning how much something costs.
Nice guy, cool staff. Cool niche stuff, too. Will work with you if needed.
The owner told me today that I'm not welcome there anymore because me and a friend left a bad review on them. I was probably one of his biggest customers never left a bad review. I went to them for all my airsoft needs. I told him to show me the review and none of them were me. I offered to show him my I.D and he said no. He's dumb that's all I'm saying. So now I'm making a review to show him he's wrong. Then after I told him that I would show him my I d he said I was a liar and that's why he's banning me from the store. And the lie was that I said I didn't make a review which I didn't till just now.
Went to shop during posted operating hours and they were Closed.. No signs (I.e. lunch, emergency...etc). Power was on at other business around them. Its very inconvenient when drive across town for nothing.

I have been to every surplus, ammo, and airsoft store within 30 miles and I keep coming back to Black Jack because of the service. I walked out of an ammo store the other day after buying ammunition for one of my weapons and went to Black Jack for the holster because the ammo shop clerk didn't seem patient or interested in talking to me. If Black Jack sold real ammunition I wouldn't have gone elsewhere to begin with. The holster I bought at Black Jack was the same price at 3 stores, so I know the prices there aren't as inflated as some of the other reviewers have noted. Every time I leave Black Jack I'm confident with my purchase because they thoroughly talk with me and answer all of my questions. I learn something every time I go.
