Went to Virginia Beach location at Red mill and the staff there is super nice and friendly. Was looking for affordable baby girl clothes and they have it laid out on each aisle so nice and neat and by size and color and at great prices. Have already gone back twice there.

Went here for the first time today was happy with the selection! Got some new baby items and some gently used clothes in basically brand new condition. The Halloween section is too cute as well! Staff was friendly. Store was very clean and organized. Will come back again soon.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I went in yesterday to shop for my baby that is on the way. I walked in and immediately an employees asked where my mask was. I explained that I have a medical condition that is affected when wearing a mask. He said that he couldn’t allow me in the store without one and that it was company policy. I informed him that he couldn’t discriminate against me for having a medical condition. He didn’t care. I did go to my truck to grab a mask so I could quickly run in and look for a few things I needed before my medical issues acted up from the mask. I was very unhappy with the selection of non clothing items. No swaddles, baby monitors, or anything really other than clothes. And the clothes prices were kind of high for used items. 4.50 for a sleeper? I bought new ones from target and Walmart for that price. No only were they very rude and unethical about the mask situation, their selection isn’t up to par. Also, there was a woman wearing a mask that was slightly off her nose. An employee who I believe was the owner walked over to her and said “you need to pull your mask over your nose” using a rude condescending tone. Meanwhile the employee that said I needed a mask was wearing a face shield with nothing covering his nose but plastic that was 5 inches away from his face.

I would give them ZERO stars, but that is NOT an option. Went shopping there and paid for our item. Our 2 year old accidentally walked out with a cup of theirs and we didn't know about it. As I put everything in my car I was going to go back inside and return it, but the Owner of the store, not the Manager walked by. I asked her of she was the owner and she said yes and I told her that my daughter accidentally took the cup. I gave it to her and she didn't even acknowledge me for being honest. All she did was give me a rude look so I told her "at least I was honest". RUDE AS HELL!!!!

I shop at the location in red Mill. And love shopping here. And have ever since my son was born and he’s 4 now. The selection is usually pretty good and I feel the prices are fair. I also sells to them all the time. And even though I sometimes don’t understand why they don’t take some things. I’m sure they have their reasons. And that just gives me a reason to have a good old fashion yard sale. That said. On multiple occasions I’ve had very bad experience with Melinda. She’s not once been polite to me or cracked a smile and is quite frankly very rude. it’s very offputting. It would be no big deal if it just happened once. I understand we all have bad days. And are all dealing with our own stuff. I myself have been in customer service for more than 20 years. But I have not once had a good experience dealing with her. Politeness and a smile really does go along way.

I’ve had wonderful experiences at the Virginia Beach store and the Chesapeake store. Both stores are very clean, well organized, and have very friendly staff members. I’ve purchased mainly from the Virginia Beach store and I always find good quality items for a very reasonable price there. I was able to sell items today and had a very good experience. The owner, Diane was helpful as it was my first time selling merchandise to Once Upon a Child. I can tell that she truly cares about her customers.

I go here regularly to buy and sell and they're always great. You're greeted when you walk in, they're as fast as they can be when selling (and they'll warn if they're very busy and it will take a while), and I'm always able to find good clothes and books there.

Love this place! It is my go to for buying and selling! Every time I go in to sell they offer to hold the door and help me to my car. Out of everything I bring in they buy usually half. One time they bought everything!!! I’d rather buy used for a couple of dollars less than buying it on clearance at a store brand new because you help the environment. Nothing but nice things to say about this place. I even like the fact that they show up to the red mill movie night and that they have a new reward system for mother’s with babies all the way up to 18 months!
