Nice spot for a good walk. Parking is decent.

I did not notice a visitor center here but it has a bus stop, #33 and a Native American Daybreak Star Center west of the parking lot several blocks away. A restroom is at the end of the long parking lot area. I recommend getting a map for this large park at the main Visitor Center.
Parking is limited so on weekends this is really only an option before 11am. Getting turned around is a pain so best to move to another lot if arriving later. Otherwise location is nice for the main loop trail or events at the center. I've not had issues with break ins, but there's often broken glass around the lot. I would not leave a vehicle there overnight.
This place reminds me of other visitors centers around Minnesota in the valley and Point defiance or Wapato Park.
We went there on a Monday and the visitor's center was closed (I got the impression that it is closed every Monday). From there we walked for a few hours to the Lighthouse and back. There are lots of different trails to choose from.
