I sought out a professional dietician and nutritionist because I have not been able to maintain an exercise routine as a result of my lupus symptoms becoming worse and more frequent. I also wanted to resolve frequent headaches, sleep interruption, heartburn and occasional gastrointestinal issues. These issues seem to have compounded one another over the past 3 years. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Donna Wolf guided me in gathering health and testing information to determine the appropriate plan to resolve my issues. I had previously tried other food and diet programs, but I had never attempted a plan that was specific to my symptoms and medical diagnosis. Based on my MRT blood test results and autoimmune condition I was but on the LEAP protocol. Over the course of 5 months I have followed the plan as directed and am pleased to have resolved 49 of my 62 symptoms and have lost 23 pounds. I attribute this to Donna’s approach to first use data to identified the appropriate supplements and plan to target the problem areas, then the education and resource information she provides to help you really understand how and why this approach works, and finally the accountability tools provided to help you stick to the plan and overcome challenges. I would recommend Healthy Directions For You for those who feel stuck and frustrated. This was a whole new approach that opened my mind to a new way of thinking about the importance of managing stress, sleep, movement, and food in order to heal your body. The LEAP protocol and additional care provided by Donna taught me how to meditate, de-stress, sleep well, find new ways to exercise, and try new food combinations that I really enjoyed.

I went to see Donna because I suffered from metabolic syndrome, fatigue, digestive problems and weight issues. I’ve had trouble with my weight and diet since I was a kid, and I used to have an unhealthy relationship with food. I tried any fad diets and exercise regimens, but nothing would be able to stick long term. With Donna, I did the weight management/lifestyle change program, and over time I have fixed my issues with fatigue and digestion and incorporated healthy habits into my life. Donna showed me a new, healthy way to look at food, and helped me become accustomed to new eating habits and workouts. Her recipes are delicious too! I can't say enough great things about Donna Wolf and how much she has helped me! I went to see her because I was struggling with weight fluctuations, gut issues, and extreme fatigue. Donna expressed her priority for me based on my need would be in restoring my gut. She made a personalized meal plan and put me on supplements that completely restored my gut and it has been LIFE CHANGING! After healing my gut, not only am I happier and more energized, at a healthier weight, but my acne has cleared up dramatically. I am someone who has suffered from acne for over 15 years and have been on accutane multiple times. Coming to see Donna was one of the best decisions I could have made for my health. I have had stomach problems since I was very little and have gotten very little guidance that has helped. I have had nearly every test done to figure out what was causing my stomach problems and nothing ever came back. I was always told I just had a weird version of IBS and to move on. Fed up, I decided to try seeing a nutritionist and found Donna. Donna uses the LEAP protocol for her patients with potential food allergies/intolerances. I will be honest here, it is not a fun process. You need to be committed to figuring out your food problems for this to work. But if you stick with it, it is so worth it. I strictly followed the protocol for over 4 months and I have learned so much. Some things I already knew (wheat is a problem) but others I didn't. For instance, gluten grains (such as spelt, which I was using as a wheat substitute) make me sleepy. Also, rice seems to upset my stomach, which is in pretty much every gluten free item out there. I never would have found these (and other) things out if I had not followed the protocol. Donna helped me through this every step of the way. She was always available by email or phone and she never made me feel rushed at appointments. She will take the time you need during her meetings with you, even if that means a 2 hour meeting. She tries to make sure you have all of the resources you need to make this process easier and is always there with a supportive word. Now that I have gone through the protocol, we are working on healthy eating habits to carry forward. I cannot recommend her enough.

I first met with Donna over a year ago. I have struggled with IBS for many years, and was going through a time where nothing I ate seemed to agree with me. I was feeling very low and frustrated. I came to Donna Wolf through a referral from an endocrinologist. For two years at the age of 26 I had been through scans, bloodwork and a Colonoscopy. My stomach and my gut weren’t cooperating with me and preventing me from enjoying life to the fullest. My sleep schedule and energy levels were all over the place and I hadn’t felt a good night sleep for a long time. I was bound to the nearest bathrooms and severely limited in my hobbies and work. After getting a prognosis of IBS and Fatty Liver disease I knew I needed help and was fortunate enough to have been referred to the correct person, Donna. We immediately began sorting through the exams and results of the tests and came to the conclusion that my body was revolting and needed a reset. I started on the LEAP protocol and saw immediate results. The First fourteen days of phase 1 was a detox from everything that came back as strongly affecting my food sensitivities. I completely dropped caffeine, corn, coffee and cheese. The Leap protocol resulted in me passing out on the couch after dinner before 7pm. Before that my average time falling asleep ranged between 10pm and 3am in the morning. Through the LEAP protocol I dropped 40 pounds from 270 down to 230. After the year of reintroduction dieting, I began my wellness and Weight Management program. Exercise has always been a struggle for me to maintain, but through Donna’s guidance and constant encouragement I eventually began a workout routine that has brought me joy and is getting easier and easier to stay on top of.
