Dr. Varese is very knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach to treatment. Initial testing was comprehensive and includes several take home kits. This would be daunting, however, each kit was fully explained in detail which made me feel confident doing them on my own. The office is super accessible and responsive to questions. I feel confident that I am in good hands

Not only has Dr. Varese done a lot for me, she helped my daughter with her health issues. It was nerve-wracking sending a kid 700 miles to college knowing her health wasn't great. Dr. Varese worked with her all through college and she wound up graduating from an honors college with a good grade point average. Dr. Varese also got her back to school after three weeks when she had mono. She didn't have to take the entire semester off!
Dr. Varese is a great functional medicine physician. I have been seeing her for 10 years and she has helped me with so many things related to peri menopause and menopause, including hormones, thyroid, adrenals and all sorts of other health related issues. She's been a life saver.

Her style is different from what people are stuck with on the HMO system and her methods work! I have autoimmune thyroid disease and Celiac and she helped me to obtain a diagnosis with Celiac, after going to many doctors for over 20 years with no help. Ditto for thyroid disease. Mainstream doctors will only treat by a lab report, regardless of symptoms but not Dr. Varese. She actuallly listens and will not stop until you see excellent results. She is a \look at the whole picture\ doctor and won't ply you with meds and send you on your way. If you have stubborn problems and are getting no help from mainstream medicine, go see Dr. Varese!
