Wow, what a difference it makes to have a tuned piano! I have entrusted Matt to tune my piano for years; his work and skill are phenomenal. Volunteer also invests back into the community, donating their time and skill to tune instruments at the Joy of Music school. Great company with professionals who know what they're doing. Highly recommend!

Josh Gaither is quite the professional young man as a representative/owner of Volunteer Piano. He was informative about what he was going to do, had the guts out and in his vehicle, an appointment scheduled to return the innards and tune it, all in about 30 minutes!!! His next visit two days later was also positive and everything was back together and ready for the first student of the day in about an hour. His staff is very courteous and quick to answer questions as well as respectful of your time. I highly recommend Josh Gaither and Volunteer Piano for all your tuning, repairing, and rebuilding piano needs.

I hardly ever take the time to leave a review of a business. However, I just had Josh with Volunteer Piano come to tune a very old Wurlitzer that I purchased at a rummage sale and was so impressed that I came to leave a review right after he left. I was a bit nervous that he would tell me the piano was a piece of junk and not worth tuning, but he didn't! He tuned it, explained at every step what he was doing, taught me how to clean the keys in the future, etc. He was very pleasant, very professional and very knowledgeable. Additionally, he wore a mask and disposable gloves the entire time he was at my house and disinfected the keys before he left. I would highly recommend!

Josh restored my mother's 1905 Kingsbury upright piano, and it looks and sounds fantastic. The piano had been stored in a non-climate controlled space for almost twenty years and needed some repairs along with a good cleaning. I received a clear estimate for the work (including items that might or might not need replacing) and did not receive any surprises. The price was very reasonable, and it was great to work with Josh. I highly recommend Volunteer Piano-great experience.

It doesn't get any better than this! Both Josh and Matt are excellent technicians that exhibit wonderful, professional traits. Both have taken the time to explain what they were doing and why in terms that I could understand and relate to. Volunteer piano is highly recommended for all your piano needs.

Josh is fantastic! He was very thorough in his assessment of my older baby grand piano and completed all repairs/tuning at the highest quality! As a voice teacher and musician, I totally recommend him to anyone who needs both tuning and technical work done on their piano.
