Two years ago Wade’s came to look at my furnace. They told me the thermal couple needed to be replaced but my furnace was so old it needed a special part. I pay for that visit that day and they return the next day with the part. After replacing the part the furnace starts up but flames roll out the side. It was then I was told the furnace was trash and I need a new one. The guy then after spending less than five minutes at the house and taking the “special” part with him, wants me to pay AGAIN for him to tell me I need a new furnace... I went ahead and scheduled a consult with them but they had to cancel due to issues on their end. Reschedule with them and they don’t even bother to call and tell me they are not gonna show. At that point I was done trying to work with them. For TWO years we went without heat upstairs because we couldn’t afford a new furnace and believed it was not repairable. Today, a gentleman from Ferrell’s shows up and replaces the thermal couple and again flames shoot out. Come to find out the vent was not cleaned previously and that was the reason the flames were coming out. With the new thermal couple and clean vent the furnace works perfectly and it only cost me 175. Long story short, I would NOT recommend this company. I highly recommend Ferrell’s out of Shelbyville!
This was my first time using this company as we were new to the area. Had an amazing experience! Super friendly staff, fair pricing and come out an hour after I called, diagnosed the issue and had us fixed up and cool again! Absolutely recommend!
