We had pastrami sandwiches for lunch on a Sunday. Service was OK, definitely not friendly. We watched the sandwiches being made, microwaved meat on hard rolls. My husband asked for extra meat and he was satisfied but mine & my daughters was 50% chewy fat that we couldn’t eat. Disappointed. Not sure if it’s overpriced or it’s just in a high dollar area?

Everything in my Passover order was excellent. The gefilte fish was outstanding. Who would ever eat any other gefilte fish after tasting the one prepared for Passover at Wagshal’s? Anyone eating jarred gefilte fish clearly does not know about the traditional dish made for generations and prepared at Wagshal’s. What a great recipe! We order often from Wagshals and the freshness of fish, seafood and quality of meat is outstanding. Customer service is also terrific. I am an appreciate customer.

I have been coming here for years, the food and service is unparalleled. Came in today and they didn’t have any lamb kebabs prepped so a Julia, a member of staff personally took the time to make one for me. Julia (and the other staff) are amazing, I can’t explain the impact they have on our shopping experience. Thank you to the team! Pro tip: their crabcakes are beyond reproach

Pam the butcher is the best! Everyone there is very nice and the food is very fresh. I got sushi grade fish, and scallops that Pam said would make my knees weak. Can’t wait to try em!
