My father came over from Italy when he was 17 so I grew up eating authentic Italian cuisine. LET ME TELL YOU, this is the most authentic Italian eatery I have ever been to in the triangle area. The food is to die for and their pastries are heaven! The conversation is equally as good. It reminds me of our hometown Italian restaurants. Does not disappoint ever.

We had a fantastic girls lunch and enjoyed the unusual offerings. I had the lobster and duck BLT on focaccia. Our server was pleasant and efficient. They also have a nice kids menu as you can see from the chocolate chip pancakes. They also have a full bar and breakfast is served all day.

I gave this restaurant a one-star simply because of Sarka she was rude and very unprofessional. We purchased 3 deserts, and Joe gave us 2 rainbow cookies at no charge ( we did not ask for them). Joe told Sarka no charge. Its possible she didn't here him. Sarka proceeded to ring up the 3 deserts and the cookies. I told her no charge. She did not believe me, so she asked Joe, abd I said to her \ I would not lie\ she responded \ you never know people are crazy today\ There are other restaurants whose deserts/ food are also awesome and they don't assume their customers are trying to get food for free. Its free to be kind, especially to people who patron your business.

The food was good, but the amount of grease was unacceptable. They greased our pasta so much. After eating there, we received food poisoning. Do not eat here. I take great offense in how the owners responded. The following message was written in respond to my comment. \Hi. This is absolutely bs. We usually don't respond to the negative lies but I just had to.\ This is their customer service? I enjoy reviewing places on google maps, as it helps people with feedback. I did not lie in my review above. This isn't the only review on food poisoning here. That one time I went, the food was not that great but the owner was kind. After reading this response, I have changed my mind. Thanks for responding, Arkapolis.

Good food, good service. Little bit of an identity crisis going on. Decor says its 'farm to table' with a country motif, while the menu is very strong on Italian dishes with other nationalities thrown in.
