I celebrated my PhD this evening in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a brilliant evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for this happy meeting. The stuff cooperated in a lovely manner, the food was yummy and my guests were so delighted. We shall definitely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

Definitely worth the drive (from Tewksbury) for authentic take-out Chinese Food! Not American Chinese food.

Terrible terrible service! Won't come again! So the owner responded below and said we dont know how to parent a two and a five years old. When we came to this place, we were waited to be seated but were only told to find a seat ourselves. The reason we were trying to change the table because after we read through the menu we realized the table was too small for the number of dishes that we wanted to order. Since we were told at the beginning to find a seat ourselves, we thought it would be okay to find another. Our kids were a little loud at the beginning and started to play with chopsticks. There was nothing on the table except for chopsticks and two napkins. I don't understand how messy it can be and how that would relate to respectfulness. However, the owner started to blame my kids in front of everyone in the restaurant. I can see my 5 years immediately had tears in her eyes. During the pandemic, the kids sometimes may get a little excited outside because they have been staying at home for such a long time, while it is just ridiculous to ask two little kids to behave like adults. And we have been trying to calm down our kids and it might just need a little time. If you just have ZERO tolerance to kids, then I would say this place is NOT friendly to family with kids. And if you think something that you should do as your service (ie table change for just once) as unrespectful to your work, then you should really receive some additional training on how to be a good waitress and a good restaurant owner. And BTW, my kids never throw away napkins and chopsticks.

Had a terrible experience today and left angrily before even ordering. Surely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone we know. With two little kids, we indeed experienced some difficulty making them quiet at the beginning. Once the waitress pointed out, we did quiet them down. Then we asked to change the table in order to accommodate a big feast we were to order. Nothing uncommon for any restaurant while the waitress got agitated suddenly and kept accusing us for not parenting kids properly, and leaving the previous table messy while nothing was even ordered yet. Maybe she had a bad day but such behavior is quite inappropriate for treating customers. We then left quickly and had a nice and welcoming lunch in another restaurant nearby. In the end,I noticed that the owner liked to provide very defensive response to any non5 star review. Please don’t judge and blame your customers and having more empathy might help your business.

Looks unassuming from the outside, but has authentic Chinese Xiang Style dishes inside, very spicy though just letting you know

This place used to be one of the best Chinese Hu-nan style restaurants around Boston area, very spicy and authentic flavor. However, I noticed it tasted different from our recent trip. the flavor has been downgraded, it tasted no better than any regular Americanized Chinese restaurants you found in your town, it's not authentic anymore, and it tasted bad. I wonder if it they hired a new chef. One dish we ordered is Stir-fry Pork w. White Pepper, you can tell the oil they used was not fresh at all, it's really disappointing. And here comes the worst part from my recent trip there, my families who ate it all had food poisoning afterwards.

I think this is the best Hunan Chinese restaurant, and straight up best Chinese restaurant that is out there, in terms of food quality, quantity, and price. Speaking for the mainly the spicy authentic dishes, but some savory dishes are also delicious as well. Now I live very far away, but still drive there at times.
